The Super Bowl was Rigged, Let’s Talk About the Best Trailers and Commercials
Super Bowl 58 has come and gone and there was no shortage of great trailers this year, on top of a few good commercials. Today I get to share my top 5 trailers and commercials from the Super Bowl.

5. Disney +
The media giant crushed it this year with a huge trailers and this very special commercial. Having iconic lines from all types of different movies, giving everyone a special feel of nostalgia. “I love you 3,000,” may still bring some people to tears after Iron Man died, and “Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi,” kicked off one of the biggest franchises in all of pop culture. It even had some throwbacks with showing everyone how to spell “supercalifragilistic.” All of this left me with goosebumps when it nearly finished with Buzz Lightyear’s catchphrase, “To infinity, and beyond.” But there was a tease for someone just as big as Disney. Taylor Swift’s, Taylor Swift: The Era’s Tour movie will be coming to Disney+ in March.
4. Knuckles
Knuckles looks like an absolute blast. Irdris Elba returns to voice the lead character as Knuckles looks to find his place on earth. I thought that Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was excellent and I had such a fun time watching it so I can’t wait for more Knuckles. The only thing that might turn me off from this show is that it’s on Paramount+, but that’s what free trials are for. A 6 episode event all streaming on April 26th is something you don’t want to miss.
3. Dunkin’ Donuts
Boston to the max in this commercial. Legends like Tom Brady, Ben Affleck, and Matt Damon shine in what had to have brought smiles all across America. If it didn’t have Dunkin’ Donuts everything in this commercial I wouldn't have been able to tell you what it was about but it ruled. In the end, it does tell the viewer that Dunkin’ will have a new drink named after Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, so everything ends all nice and neat.
2. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
My second most anticipated movie for the first half of 2024, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, released a new trailer and moved up the release date by 2 weeks. With apes and humans swapping places in the food chain, it will be interesting to see how this new relationship ends up. The all-new adventure takes place centuries after Caesar and seemingly puts the apes in the Stone Age. May 10th cannot come fast enough.
1. Deadpool and Wolverine
The MCU might actually get saved by Ryan Reynolds and his love for Deadpool. Since Avengers: Endgame, there has been no shortage of Marvel content, just a shortage of good Marvel content. Deadpool and Wolverine will make their MCU debut and it seems like it’s going to be a must watch. The TVA has seemingly captured Deadpool and who knows what he’s going to do. Exciting action and funny jokes is exactly what the MCU needs to go back to, and there’s no one better than Deadpool and Wolverine.
